I love to hear the inspiring powerful presence you have. Keep up the amazing work, women need you!

It was a breath of fresh air. I began to realize that the freedom I felt/experienced on the coaching call was something I was created to enjoy and able to have in my life on a daily basis.

I have something that I’ve been dying to get off my chest. So here goes: Whether you believe me or not, you were gifted this life to make a difference in the lives of others. Now, maybe you already know this. But in my line of work, I am always asked this one question: What is my purpose?
What if I told you that your purpose is as simple as: Discovering, learning about, creating, and being YOU. Like really? What if all you had to do was to show up each and every day as your most frickin’ fabulous self? And listen, I get it. Some days aren’t so hot. I’m not talking about being perfect. I’m talkng about being YOU.
And you my friend, were not put here on this Earth to be perfect.
Perfect is boring anyways and leads to high blood pressure and stress..not fun. I can’t imagine me NOT doing what I am doing in the world. Talking to people, listening about their dreams, their goals, and supporting them in getting exactly what they want. Essentially, a life designed by YOU, for YOU, so that you can be of service to OTHERS.
If figuring out what you want has been a struggle for you, I recommend two things:
— Check out my course, The Art of Taking Confident Action
— Schedule a 20-minute chat with where we can talk about ways that we can work together so you can stop trying to “figure things out” and start living on purpose.
There was a point in my life where i lived in a Vasavi bubble. When I got out of my little bubble, and started to focus my energy on “What can I do for you?”- that’s when my life totally shifted. But in order for me to walk down that path, i had to get crystal, like CRYSTAL clear on what i truly desired in my life FIRST. I’m not talking about the things that i wanted, I’m talking how i wanted to feel.
On today’s Keepin’ It Real, you’re going to learn that finding your purpose isn’t hard at all. After you watch this week’s vid, I would love to hear from you:
What does it mean to “live on purpose” for you?
Can’t wait to hear from you in the comments below.
Not sure if I’ve ever told you this, but i’ve never had a job. Well, unless you count working at CVS when I was 16 years old at Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island. And in 2015 when I took a sabbatical from my business and worked five jobs!!
I get emails everyday from people just like you who want to transition from their full time gig to making their passion their “side hustle.” You may already be living out your passion in the form of your business and in that case, CONGRATULATIONS for making that happen.
I know it must be tough to make that transition from 9-5 and having a “safe and secure” paycheck to entrepreneurship where honestly, the first few years can either be sink or swim. You see when I first started my business, I was constantly reminded that I had an Ivy League education and “Why the hell can’t you just get a job like normal people?”
Have you ever thought about quitting your day job? If so, today’s Keepin’ It Real video is for you.
And guess what? Even if you have never asked yourself that, watch today’s vid anyway because whether or not you have ever explored the possibility of venturing out and starting your own business- at some point in your life- there may come a time where you are curious about what else is out there for you. It’s human nature. I’m true to my astrological sign (Taurus) and stubborn as a bull, so no matter what anyone said to me, I stuck with it. I kept going. And, even when I had to forego getting my nails done or go out to dinners with my friends because I had other financial responsibilities, I kept hustling as if my life depended on it (it did). And let me tell you, IT WAS WORTH IT.
Once you watch today’s video, I would love to hear your answer to this question below in the comments: Have you ever thought of quitting your day job to fulfill a long lost dream? Do you ever ask yourself, “ Is this it?”
Can’t wait to hear what you have to say. And if you know that you have a passion or an idea that you have been sitting on and not taking any action then check out my free video training on how to take action on ONE business idea in less than 20 minutes. Let me ask you something: Do you ever feel like when you talk to certain people it’s like banging your head against a brick wall? Ouch that hurts. You wanna know the ONE part of myself that I have consistenly had to work on? My “Keepin’ It Real” approach.
See, while I may be the Keepin’ It Real “Guru,” I’ve had to become very mindful and aware of how I say what I say. Because guess what? Sometimes, Keepin’ It Real…goes wrong. And that’s not cool nor what I’m committed to. This week’s Keepin’ It Real is a bit different than the rest. My creative director, Justin makes a cameo appearance in today’s episode. Our dialogue is pretty darn funny so I can’t wait to hear what you think.
I love surprises so I hope you enjoy today’s video and I would love to hear once you finish watching: What’s one small shift you can make to change your approach with people?
Come on now, Justin and I kept it real (watch the video to hear our confession)..so don’t leave us hangin 🙂
P.S. If you have been struggling with getting clear on WHAT you WANT, check out my program, The Art of Confident Action. You can check it out and enroll here.
Before you read any further, I just have to share what’s going. I have been taking a 10,000 ft. view of my business and life and have come to the realization that it’s time for restructuring. This is a very exciting place for me right now because I’m a firm believer that in order to expand, sometimes, we just gotta let some stuff go and be willing to try new things out.
Ok back to today’s Keepin’ It Real:
Do you wanna know what sets apart those who succeed and those who just coast along?
The ability to bounce back.
Specifically, the ability to bounce BACK from rejection, so-called failures, betrayals, and everyday stuff that happens. As someone who openly shares her falls in life, I have a ton of experience with falling and bouncing back. Now in the beginning, my bounce-back muscle wasn’t as strong as it is now. It’s taken years of making mistakes, dealing with rejection, and broken relationships that have truly trained me to become the warrior that I am. Which leads me to today’s Keepin’ It Real video. I received a question from a woman named Erin about this exact topic: How to bounce back.
I did some research and found an excellent article over at The Daily Muse that answered Erin’s question perfectly.
It’s an important topic because as I said before, the ability to bounce BACK is what sets apart those who achieve success in their life as opposed to people who simply coast along and spend their life “wishing” and “hoping” for luck to happen. Way to often I hear, “Vasavi, I can’t move forward because I’m stuck” or “I’m afraid to do XYZ.” When you exercise your bounce back muscle, NOTHING can stop you- not your fear, not other people’s perceptions, not yourself-doubt- NOTHING.
When you get your bounce back, NOTHING can stop you. (click to tweet)
After you finishing watching today’s videos, I’d love for you to share in the discussion below:
What have you had to bounce back from? And, how did you do it?
Thank you so much for being a part of this community and until next time,
Keep it real 😉 Vasavi
P.S. If you want to work out your bounce back muscle then this is for YOU: I love to speak to people 1:1 so go ahead and set up your 20-minute “no strings attached” call with me here.
