Do you know you have a message that could give hope to others?

Are you a service based entrepreneur looking to share your story and increase your impact on this planet?

Have you been so busy serving others that you haven’t taken the time out to work ON your business?

If so, the Spring Equinox workshop is for you.

Most of us become entrepreneurs because we believe that anything is possible.

We have dreams, desires, and hopes to do, be, and have anything in our lives.

But then life happens. And we get so caught up in the day to day that we forget that without a proper plan and strategy, our businesses do not get the attention that it deserves.

Yesterday I went to the Texas Conference for Women here in Austin, TX. My role was to serve as a coach in the “Coaches Corner” for the 7000 attendees traveling from all over to come to the conference. Of course, I didn’t speak to 7000 women but I had the opportunity to coach many of the women who needed help with their “next steps.” Some were 9-5ers looking to make some additional income. Some were in transition between their job and their side hustle, and some just needed a boost of confidence that they were on the right track.

I also got to hear many of the speakers, including the elegant and world-famous fashion designer, Diane Von Furstenberg.

She said something that I wanted to share with you today:

“You never know how something that seems like the worst thing turns out to be the best.”

So true.

Whatever you may be going through right now, no matter how “bad” it seems, will turn out to the be the best. How do I know this with such certainty? Because when I reflect on anything and everything that I have gone through in my life, I can now see that it all worked out in my favor.

It’s all about perspective.

And if your perspective is skewed and filled with negativity, then of course your life is going to feel like it’s happening TO YOU, versus FOR YOU.

That’s me and the lovely DVF below 🙂

As children we were trained to be “nice” and polite.”

Let me just say this right here: Being “nice” isn’t an indicator of your success as a human.

Being able to honor yourself and your boundaries is what will take you farther in life.

Welcome to step one of creating stronger boundaries.

Begin to set personal boundaries

One of the biggest aspects of personal growth and becoming self aware is your relationship to your parents. Usually, when you still get triggered by your parents, or you find yourself seeking their approval in any area of your life, that is the biggest indicator that you still have work to do regarding your self growth.

Before you make decisions about anything, do you have to stop and consider what your parents would think about it?

Or if you make a mistake or do something that you think they wouldn’t approve of, do you hold back from telling them about it?

If the answer is yes, this is a huge red flag.

Why do they get to run your life?

Why does anyone get to run your life for that matter?

Why does it matter what they think?

You are no longer twelve years old anymore.

You no longer need to ask permission to go out and do what you want to do.

You’re not going to get grounded and shamed by your family. Well maybe you’ll get shamed.
