I’m loving my time here in India. I’m happy, tan (yes, I know i’m already brown), and love spending every waking moment with my Self (most of the time).
It’s crazy how much I have been napping and how little I have been eating. For the first time in a long time I feel as if I am finally full. Except this time, I am full from life and being with myself.
That’s me and some coconuts. Can you believe that five coconuts were only $1.66!!!! Check out my Instagram if you want to see more of my photos from my trip to India.
I digress. Back to what I was saying.
Sometimes, I sit in my room with the doors open and feel the breeze blow against me and say to myself, “I wouldn’t have it any other way.” That for me is my personal definition of success (for now).
I gotta be honest. In the self-help industry, there is much talk on “manifesting” your desires and dreams. I’m all for the mindset and law of attraction, AND, sitting under a tree chanting OM will not get you to where you want to go.
I’m all for chanting mantras and praying (you’re talking to someone who was raised in a traditional Hindu household). And, I also know what it takes to get from point A to point B.
Listen, there is no one path to get to your final destination. And is there really even a “final” destination other than the day we die?
What has worked for me may not work for you. Everyone has their own path to walk on. I’m offering a few things that have helped me along the way. Feel free to take what works and leave the rest.
Don’t ever forget that whatever you are seeking is seeking you right back. Look no further than the tip of your nose. (click to tweet)
